Top Table
Top Table: British/Australian term for the head table — where the wedding party sits.
Top table is the British and Australian term for the head table at a wedding. It seats the couple, parents (often divorced parents are split across both sides of the couple), and sometimes the maid of honour and best man. The top table faces the rest of the guests.
