Sweetheart Table
Sweetheart Table: A small private table for the couple alone, usually for 2.
A sweetheart table is a small dedicated table — typically a 30 to 48 inch round or a 4 to 6 foot rectangular — that seats only the couple. It replaces the traditional head table and gives the couple a private space to sit and eat together. Sweetheart tables are popular at modern weddings because they simplify head-table politics (no choosing between parents, no seating order debates among the wedding party) and look beautiful in photos.
