Sightline
Sightline: The visual path from a guest's seat to the focal point — the couple, dance floor, or speaker.
Sightline refers to whether a guest can clearly see key moments — the first dance, the speeches, the cake cutting — from their seat. Good seating-chart practice: never seat guests facing a wall, behind a pillar, or with the head table out of view. Use a floor plan to verify sightlines before printing.
