Assigned Seating
Assigned Seating: Each guest is given a specific table (and sometimes a specific seat).
Assigned seating means you tell each guest exactly which table to sit at. Some couples take it further with assigned seats (specific chair at the table). Assigned seating is the standard for sit-down dinners at weddings of 50+ guests because it eliminates awkward last-minute scrambling and makes catering service much smoother.
