Escort Card
Escort Card: A card that tells each guest which table to sit at.
An escort card is a small card — usually displayed on a table near the entrance to the reception — that tells a guest their table number or table name. Escort cards are arranged alphabetically by guest name; traditional etiquette uses last name, while many modern weddings sort by first name for a more relaxed feel. They differ from place cards: an escort card directs you to a table, while a place card marks your specific seat at that table.
