Open Seating
Open Seating: No assigned tables — guests sit wherever they like.
Open seating means guests pick their own seats. It works for very small weddings (under 40), cocktail-style receptions, or extremely casual events. For most wedding reception dinners, open seating creates problems: guests rush to grab seats, late arrivals feel awkward, and family groupings get split.
