Highboy / Cocktail Table
Highboy / Cocktail Table: A tall standing table for drinks and standing conversation.
A highboy (also called a cocktail table or pub table) is a tall, narrow round table about 42 inches high. Guests stand at it. Highboys are used during cocktail hour, around the bar, near food stations, and in lounge zones to give guests somewhere to rest a drink without sitting down. Most weddings have a mix of highboys (for cocktail hour) and standard banquet seating (for the dinner reception).
